RAE WASSON

Rae Wasson is an actor, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Rae grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Rae has performed regionally with Lyric Arts, Lakeshore Players, Brick by Brick Players, Thin Air Theatre, and the Minnesota Fringe Festival, among others. Next up, she will perform as Eliza Wilder in LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE: THE MUSICAL at Lakeshore Players in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She also recently appeared in OUR TOWN at Lyric Arts and THE WINTER'S TALE at Thin Air Theater. At the Minnesota Fringe Festival in 2022, she originated the role of Jenny in HAPPY ENDINGS CHURCH.

On screen, Rae can be seen as Lila in Horn of Africa Production's short film CLAIRE.

Beyond her work as an actor and singer, Rae is a versatile multi-instrumentalist. She has combined her love of theatre and music and performed as a cellist in OUR TOWN at Lyric Arts, UNCLE VANYA at Old World New World Theater, and in GHOST QUARTET at InterMission Theatre.

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Rae studied theatre and computer science. Drawing from her experience working as a software engineer, Rae is passionate about the intersection of art and technology. Her mission is to use theater and film to tell stories that otherwise might not be heard.
